Hi future FREEnds! My name is Karen and I am SO excited to meet y'all!! I am currently in the process of switching my major from Chemical engineering to Industrial Distribution, as well as pursuing minors in both chemistry and Spanish. I love to be active (I actually wear my fit bit religiously, oops), and I absolutely love playing (and watching) sports, as well as taking random hiking/camping trips. I was born in Mexico City, but I've lived in the Houston area my whole life. When I'm not studying or working out, I really like to bake and cook (especially Mexican food), so if you ever want a home cooked meal while in college, come find me!!! I had no idea what was in store for me my freshman year, but joining FREE provided a perfect community of lost, confused freshmen engineers, just like me, and it introduced me to some of my best friends.
